Though I thought it was kinda of implied that the Perkunishaians were actully Old Prussians.

Never heard of this book, interesting map but makes no sense- Scotland and N.Ireland uninhabitable but pretty far north in Scadinavia is?

Pg. 68 of my edition:

"The upper third of the Scandinavian peninsula and most of Scotland and the upper fourth of Ireland were in white and marked with the black outline of a polar bear."

And C. you're right, it does seem to be the case that he was thinking of the Perkunishians as Old Prussians, although in my defense they have a name described as derived from a Lithuanian god and as having a very similar language.
