Talk about misunderstanding what a thread is about:

What if Honda started a hybrid program earlier and their first hybrid car was a version of the Acura Vigor?

I fear I haven't the least idea. Do we have any car buffs, er, with an interest outside 1950s American, that is?

That's funny. Isn't the Vigor, nowadays, the Acura TL? If so, then it should be easy to transfer it to the Honda Accord (the US version, not the Euro and JDM versions).
