Has anyone ever heard of there is a movie or TV series based on this trilogy in teh works? Did S.M. Sterling ever sell the movie/TV rights to a studio? (not trying to be nosey into his money, just curious if there was ever any interest...)

I certainly wouldn't mind watching that....after all, I remember enjoying "Rome" very much......

I'd very much like it to be made into a miniseries, but I wouldn't like it very much if it was on HBO.

Of course it'd be good. Don't see it happening though...And if it did it'd probally be a low budget affair with horrible acting that ruins the entire thing,

On the subject of AH stuff in other media I wonder what happened to that world war game there was supposed to be in development...

They'd probally change the main characters quite considerably.
Merge many together and all that.

Mel Gibson would have to play Ian Arnstein, just for the irony. Then again, Helmut Mittler would be the obvious choice for him.
