March across the Belts a failure

What would happened if Charles X of Swedens march across the danish straits in 1658, was a failure, because the ice proved to be to weak, collasping at some point doing their walking over it, either by splitting up the Cavalry from the Infantry/Artillery (the Cavalry went from Funen over Langeland to Lolland the 5th of Febuary, while the Infantry/Artillery went over the 6th), or by the ice simply collasping under the weight of the artillery, leaving large parts of the artillery and or even men drowning in the icy waters.

Suddenly split or lacking large parts of the Army, what would Charles X and Sweden then do?
