Pyrrhic Victory Redefined

Is there any reasonably plausible (not the same as probable) way that Pyrrhus of Epirus could have made Carthage his ally in his struggle against Rome? Would an early demise of Agathocles help or hurt (or neither) this development? If such an alliance is concluded how much trouble is Rome in?

Has this one been done already? Sometimes I want to quote Ecclesiastes on this Board LOL.

Pyrrhus and Carthage

I don't see such an alliance as plausible. Pyrrhus sought to unite the Greeks in Italy and Sicily. Ultimately, Pyrrhus had hopes of ruling over a united Greek Kingdom of the West. Greece proper, Sicily, southern Italy and eventually Macedon would have been included.

Carthage was too much at odds with the Greeks to join Pyrrus in a war that Carthage didn't want-a war with Rome.
